Time is Biggest Concern for Businesses as IT Pros Continue Windows 10 Migration

While companies are highly engaged in the process of migrating to Windows 10, the pace of migration is much slower than expected, particularly in comparison to projections made in Adaptiva's 2017 report. Factors hindering migration include the time required to plan, test, deploy, and maintain Windows 10; the staff size needed to effectively manage migration and beyond; and costs that have emerged as companies get further along in the transition process.

"Now that enterprises are in the thick of Windows 10 migration, they're realizing that it takes longer and costs more than they anticipated, but there is no turning back," said Jim Souders, chief executive officer at Adaptiva. "It’s become an imperative for companies to identify solutions that accelerate deployment while decreasing costs. And it’s vital that they figure out how to do this without compromising security or employee productivity."
