Founder & CEO
Dr. Kumar is responsible for overseeing the company's strategic product vision and execution in the endpoint management and security space. Prior to Adaptiva, he was one of the main designers of Microsoft's SCCM/MEM product. Before Microsoft, he was the group manager for advanced IP Telephony products at Nortel.
Dr. Kumar has received five patents related to his work on SCCM/MEM at Microsoft and is published in more than 50 publications, including a book on Windows programming. While at Microsoft, Dr. Kumar also authored the Thinkweek paper for Bill Gates that became Project Greenwich, now known as Skype for Business/ Teams.
Deepak is an avid outdoorsman and hiker.
Chief Growth Officer
Jeff Day is responsible for Adaptiva's go-to-market strategy and execution, leading sales, marketing, alliances, and account management to drive customer growth and business expansion.
Jeff brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience spanning high-growth technology companies and global enterprises. Previous to Adaptiva, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at DomainTools and has held senior marketing leadership roles at Act-On Software, Highspot, and Apptio. He led global marketing and product organizations at HP, Sun Microsystems, and AWS, where he built the company's partner marketing organization.
Jeff is passionate about helping organizations make informed technology decisions and building long-term customer relationships to drive lasting business success.
Chief Technology Officer
Davinder leads software design and architecture at Adaptiva. He sets the vision for the engineering team and executes technical strategy for the company. In his career at Adaptiva, Davinder has held multiple software engineering and architect-level roles in design and development of the company's award-winning peer-to-peer platform and product suite, products that are deployed on millions of devices across large customer bases for the Fortune Global 1000. Prior to Adaptiva, Davinder held software engineering positions at companies such as HPE and Fiorano Software. He brings extensive software development experience and technical leadership to the Adaptiva team.
In his free time, Davinder enjoys road-biking, hiking, skiing, and his daughter's softball events.
Senior Vice President, Global Customer Success and Solutions
Dan Richings leads Adaptiva's world-class support team and technical solutions group. He also supports Adaptiva's engineering by developing customer-bespoke solutions and providing input into product design and development.
Dan joined Adaptiva in 2015 and was the first Adaptiva employee in Europe. He helped to quickly build Adaptiva's business in Europe and has held numerous positions within the company. Dan has a strong technical background in IT automation, solutions and endpoint management roles spanning numerous industry sectors including construction, design & consulting, IT services, software development and professional services.
Vice President of Engineering
Shailesh Kumar leads Adaptiva's development team and is responsible for R&D as well as development of all Adaptiva's products. In his career at Adaptiva, Shailesh has held multiple architect roles across design and development of Adaptiva core framework components like world class Enterprise Peer to Peer system, Messaging, Content System, and Kernel drivers. He has proven expertise in creating and executing large scale architectural designs. Shailesh brings a wealth of experience in Enterprise Systems Management and Enterprise Application Integration domain. Prior to Adaptiva, Shailesh was a member of core team at Fiorano Software where he developed world's first grid-enabled, peer-to-peer messaging platform in EAI. He has a Bachelor in Computer Science (Hons) from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
In his free time, Shailesh enjoys hiking and biking.
VP of Global Alliances
He has spent more than 20 years building and scaling partner ecosystems across enterprise software, cloud, security, and infrastructure, with leadership roles at VMware/Broadcom and Microsoft. His extensive experience working with hyperscalers, GSIs, ISVs, OEMs, and enterprise technology partners has resulted in turning partnerships into real revenue, customer adoption, and scalable delivery.
Kurt believes the most successful partnerships are grounded in trust, aligned objectives, and a shared commitment to delivering meaningful value for customers.
