Adaptiva Joins ServiceNow Build Partner Program to Expand Access to CMDB Integration

ServiceNow CMDB integration is available from Adaptiva and will be offered through the ServiceNow Store

KIRKLAND, Wash., September 11, 2026Adaptiva, a global leader in autonomous endpoint management, today announced that it has joined the ServiceNow Build Partner Program, expanding how ServiceNow customers can access Adaptiva's integration with the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB). The integration is currently available directly from Adaptiva.

The integration enables organizations to use data in their ServiceNow CMDB to manage device groups and direct patching and endpoint management strategies through Adaptiva.

“Teams shouldn't have to recreate information they already maintain in ServiceNow every time they need to manage or patch endpoints,” said Dr. Deepak Kumar, Founder and CEO of Adaptiva. “By connecting that data directly with Adaptiva’s OneSite platform, our customers are using ServiceNow CMDB as their single system of record to determine how endpoints are organized into policy groups, managed, and patched.”

With the integration, teams can now:

  • Use ServiceNow CMDB as the central source of truth for managing endpoint groups
  • Define managed device groups in Adaptiva based on ServiceNow CMDB criteria
  • Have changes to device groupings in ServiceNow reflected in Adaptiva
  • Avoid manually maintaining the same device groups and lists across multiple systems
  • Use CMDB-driven endpoint groups to support endpoint management and patching strategies

In environments using Adaptiva OneSite Patch, these groups can also be used with business units to direct patching strategies, including determining which endpoints should receive or pause certain patching activities.

“From an engineering standpoint, the goal was to make this easy for administrators to use,” said David Sowder, Sr. Solutions Engineer at Adaptiva. “Administrators can manage their device groups in ServiceNow, and when those groups change, Adaptiva can use that updated information to determine which endpoints belong in each group. That means teams don't have to maintain the same device lists in multiple places, and they can use those groups to guide endpoint management and patching.”

The integration uses ServiceNow's Table API and can be configured with a dedicated API user and restricted access scopes to help organizations control the data and functionality available to the connection. A settings validation feature allows administrators to confirm their ServiceNow credentials and required API access before using CMDB queries within Adaptiva.
