Version 8.0.15$$$ Download - Published on August 11; 2025$$$$$$New Features$$$$$$Optimizers; SolarEdge: it is now possible to define subarrays with heterogeneous strings*.$$$Improvements$$$$$$3D scene: two redundant error messages concerning the azimuth and tilt spread in averaged orientations have been removed$$$3D scene: import of scene now creates one single averaged orientation by default. An option allows re-enabling automatic detection of multiple orientations$$$Ageing tool: enabled tool tips to provide information on CSV output generation$$$Optimizers: Optimizer efficiency is now applied after module related losses (*)$$$Optimizers: power clipping is now better handled*$$$Weather data; Solargis: updated URL links in the TMY API integration UI to new Knowledge Base.$$$Corrections$$$$$$3D scene: small width changes in PV table dimensions (<3cm) now modify the total sensitive width/height (*)$$$3D scene: changing scene view for the report no longer invalidates shadings table$$$3D scene: improvement of the nomenclature for the dimensions of chimneys on sloping roofs$$$3D scene: copying/pasting a PV object into the List and management of objects window no longer causes distortion of certain objects$$$3D scene: PV module spacing and orientation from imported DAE files are now correctly saved within the variant$$$3D scene: partition check box now works correctly for Polygonial field$$$Batch mode: shading table is now recomputed if backtracking parameters are changed in the batch simulation properties$$$Grid storage: revision of battery operation calculations*$$$System: number of modules in series now remains unchanged in systems combining subarrays with and without optimizers$$$Tools: voltage optimization plot now prints correctly$$$Trackers; diffuse shadings: central tracker and custom tracker modes now offer the choice of including shading objects in the calculation$$$Weather data: the NSREL option is disabled when the data is not available for the selected site.$$$Check also dedicated page for PVsystCLI changes$$$$$$(**) More detailed information available on PVsyst FAQ (topic PVsyst 8.0.15: main changes).

Version 8.0.14$$$ Download - Published on July 17; 2025$$$$$$Improvements$$$$$$3D scene: GCR definition clarified in the help$$$Bifacial: all orientations with an error or warning are now reported$$$Bifacial: errors stemming from the irregularity of pitch or the average tracker axis are now warnings$$$Databases update.$$$Power Factor: The help pages and other explantations about the power factor have been rewritten and have been illustrated with graphics to clarify the concepts.$$$Shading: A message is now displayed upon exit of the 3D dialog when the Partial Shading Calc selection is less than 5% of the total area or less than 10 tables$$$Corrections$$$$$$Backtracking: the number of trackers with a higher GCR is now recomputed upon changing the backtracking reference tracker$$$Bifacial: The calculation of the rear-side diffuse contribution for horizontal PV tables; and the corresponding loss diagram have been corrected (regression in V8.0.13)$$$Components; PAN file: the numerical value of Voc in the PV module definition window is no longer affected by numerical imprecision$$$Detailed Results: the absence of default variables for monthly plots no longer causes crashes$$$Shadings: Print output now processes all orientations$$$Shadings; thin objects: the partition model results in presence of thin objects have been corrected. This may impact the simulation results; by increasing the electrical shadings slightly in some cases (**).$$$Report: Fix for partial shading always reporting 100%$$$Report: the units of energy results are now correct$$$Check also dedicated page for PVsystCLI changes$$$
