Parallels RAS Core$$$Parallels RAS Core v21.0.0.2-26257 (12 December 2025)$$$Critical Fix: Importing the HALB appliance OVA to VMware vCenter 8 failed; with the following error ‘Reason: A specified parameter was incorrect: An invalid configSpec.guestId argument was specified.’; due to an invalid guest OS type configuration.$$$Critical Fix: RAS Console became unresponsive when the VDI Hosts tab was open and administrators switched between the Hosts and Templates tabs after completing replica distribution without template versioning support. This issue resulted from a locking conflict between threads managing VDI host pools and VDI templates; causing the UI to freeze and blocking further navigation or actions in RAS Console.$$$Critical Fix: Performance degradation when accessing or browsing redirected drives; especially on older devices or in environments with varying network quality.$$$Fixed: When drive redirection cache is enabled; file metadata was being requested incorrectly leading to file corruption when creating ZIP files on redirected drives.$$$Fixed: Possible crash when using TWAIN scanning and attempting to perform multiple scanning requests.$$$Fixed: Hosts failed to be recreated after exiting maintenance mode; causing certain templates to skip the cloning process and immediately enter the Ready state. In affected environments running RAS 21.0; this also led to instability and occasional crashes in the RAS Console and Connection Broker when managing impacted templates; particularly templates that do not support versioning; older templates created with RAS versions prior to 19.3; and Hyper-V template distribution.$$$Fixed: When using template distribution in Hyper-V; exiting maintenance mode and selecting host recreation caused the system to rebuild the replica VM instead of the intended VDI hosts.$$$Fixed: In VMware vCenter environments; clone creation was triggered immediately after template exits maintenance mode; even while its distribution to secondary datastores was still ongoing. As a result; clones failed on non-primary datastores because the cloning process did not wait for template distribution to finish.
