Dr. Deepak Kumar
Chief Technology Officer and Founder


Dr. Kumar is responsible for strategic product direction and leads the development organization. He was the lead program manager with Microsoft's Systems Management Server 2003 team and program manager with the Windows NT Networking team. Prior to Microsoft, he was a group manager for IP Telephony products at Nortel. Dr. Kumar has received five patents related to his work on SMS 2003 at Microsoft and has written more than 50 publications, including a book on Windows programming. While at Microsoft, Dr. Kumar also authored the Thinkweek paper for Bill Gates that became Project Greenwich, now known as Microsoft Office Communications Server / Lync.


Todd Floyd
Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Operations

 

Todd is responsible for sales and business development for Adaptiva globally, as well as leading customer success teams, both directly and with partner organizations. Todd has over 20 years of experience leading sales, marketing and operations with both large and start-up enterprises. Prior to joining Adaptiva, Todd was responsible for sales and operations for BMC Software in the Pacific Northwest.  Todd has held various sales and marketing leadership positions both in the US/Canada and Asia Pacific-Japan for Siebel/Oracle, Endeca, Parametric Technology and Xerox Corporation. He holds a B.S. in Marketing from Washington State University.

 

Chérie Wentz Blehm
Director of Marketing

 

Chérie leads global marketing and branding initiatives. She comes to Adaptiva with a solid background in marketing communications and product marketing with high tech companies—from early stage to established Fortune 500 firms. She has extensive experience driving awareness via traditional and social media channels, developing integrated online marketing communications and go-to-market activities for client server and cloud-based software offerings. Prior to Adaptiva, Chérie held senior marketing positions at TappIn, DocuSign, Lynx Medical and Microsoft. While at DocuSign, Chérie achieved a 74% share of total market reach and 56% viewership reach, helping propel DocuSign to its current leadership position. She holds an MBA with an emphasis in Marketing and earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington.  

 

Bill Lange
Director of Customer Support

 

Bill comes to Adaptiva with an extensive background delighting enterprise customers with superior technical support and driving operational excellence. He has extensive depth and breadth of experience in operations and project management, supporting Fortune 100 clients around the globe. Bill has held various roles over the past 14 years in support organizations at Microsoft and Attachmate, including managing teams supporting Microsoft System Center products. He believes that a quality support organization is a critical component of any enterprise product and every customer issue is an opportunity for improvement. Bill is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE, a Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) and is a Novell Certified Netware Engineer (CNE).  He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington.
